The 2026 theme, “Immersion in Living Water,” is inspired by Ezekiel 47, where God’s living water flows out to bring fertility, abundance, and healing to all creation—while also reminding us that water can be both life-giving and destructive for communities on the frontline of the ecological crisis. Join us for the Season of Creation (1 September - 4 October) as we listen to the cry of the earth and the poor and renew our commitment to ecological justice and care for our common home. To celebrate, students across Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand are invited to enter the Columban Season of Creation Competition. Submit artwork, video, or poetry on the theme of God’s living water, or write an essay answering one of the three prompts in the script.
