Jesus shows that those forgiven much love much, and that love isn't a precondition for forgiveness but its fruit. The real turning point of the reflection is one question Jesus asks Simon: "Do you see this woman?" Simon had seen her reputation, not her. We see or fail to see others when we relate to the labels instead of the person.
