Happy 19th Anniversary to CCAE!
On 3rd September 2026, the Catholic Centre for Academic Excellence (CCAE) in Pakistan celebrated 19 blessed years of its mission, born from a great vision and deep love for the Catholic youth of Hyderabad.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes especially to Columban Fr Robert McCulloch, whose vision, courage and unwavering commitment gave birth to CCAE. He dreamed of creating a place where talented but disadvantaged Catholic boys could overcome poverty and barriers through education, faith, discipline and hard work. That vision has touched and transformed countless lives.
We also remember with profound gratitude His Excellency Bishop Max J. Rodrigues, the founding Bishop who supported and encouraged CCAE from its beginning and played an important role in nurturing this mission.
On this special day, we pray for Fr. Robert, Bishop Max, all past and present members of the Board of Governors, teachers, staff, students, alumni, benefactors, SEH, and importantly Bishop Samson Shukardin, the Bishop of Diocese of Hyderabad, and everyone who has contributed to CCAE's journey. May God reward every sacrifice and every contribution abundantly.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide CCAE, bless its mission and protect everyone associated with it. May it continue to educate, inspire, empower and transform the lives of generations of Catholic boys.
The Catholic Centre of Academic Excellence offers free academic, religious, and social formation for Catholic boys aged 14-19. In 2026, 74 students are enrolled, and 320 have graduated, with many pursuing fields such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, journalism, and hospitality.
