Voting for Values
NetAct, a coalition of Catholic Social Justice, Welfare and Educational Agencies of which the Columban Centre for Peace Ecology and Justice is a member, has prepared a kit entitled Voting for our Values to be used in conjunction with the Federal Election Election 2007.
It outlines 14 issues and invites people to call to mind the values which we hope will guide all of us at this time - human dignity, the common good, solidarity with and preference for those ‘made' poor, and ecological responsibility.
